Why the PUR Jacket Matters

Most cable failures in moving equipment aren’t electrical — they’re mechanical. The jacket cracks first, then moisture and contaminants get in, and the cable fails from the outside in. That’s why jacket material is the single biggest factor in flex-cable lifespan, and why we don’t use generic PVC.
